The founders, envisioned a world where healthcare was seamless and accessible to everyone. On April, Vitalera was born in Barcelona with a global vision. With the support of the European Comission, they hired their first engineers and began laying the foundation of Vitalera, bringing their dream to life for better access to health.

We launched the first version of our solution. Thanks to our strong product and validation, we had our first clients to drive our mission forward. Together, we are expanding and innovating for a healthier future, and we have started with our first paying customers, who continue to work with us to this day.

Even in the midst of a pandemic like COVID, nothing stopped us. We were awarded €360,000 in grants by the Ministry of Science and Innovation and supported more than 10 hospitals in dire need of our solution. We are honored to provide a unique remote patient monitoring tool for patients and professionals during the lockdown. Together, we are invincible.

Despite facing challenges (as COVID19), our incredible team achieved brilliant milestones: we launched our first API in January, introduced a new mobile app in July, and released a second version of the API in October. We work with +20 hospitals in a year and the European Innovation Council recognized our potential among more than 900 applicants, selecting us for a prestigious €2,500,000 non-dilutive grant to boost our growth. By doubling our revenue and team size, we have proven to be unstoppable.

We focused on creating the most robust API and SDK ecosystem, connecting over 100 medical devices and wearables. We also introduced image scanning for hardware-agnostic approach. In April, we launched the initial versions of SDKs for Android and iOS. Our innovation and resilience drive us forward. As Vitalera grows, so does our client base worldwide, including in Brazil and Europe.

This year marked a journey of measured growth as we expanded our team to 20 experienced software engineers and data scientists. We secured public procurements across Europe while maintaining our presence in Brazil and globally. Our product evolved with AI integration for computer vision, and we forged partnerships with Garmin Health and other leading medical device companies, enriching electronic medical records with high-quality data. Together, we are pioneering the future of healthcare technology.
